This is a warm tasty meal. it makes the house smell heavenly when you open the door. I serve it on garlic mashed red skin potatoes and sliced carrots with butter and tarragon

My husband says this is now one of his favourites- Thanks! We used half a bottle of beer (Porter) though, in lieu of the red wine, as I hadn't realised we were out of red.
