Swedish Meatballs

- 2 Lbs ground round or ground sirloin shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup Old Fashoined oatmeal shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 tsp thyme shopping list
- 1/2 tsp marjoram shopping list
- 1 tsp salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- Vegtable oil (for browning meatballs) shopping list
- 2 pkg of onion soup mix shopping list
- 2 cups really hot water shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together meat, eggs, oatmeal, Thyme, Marjoram, salt, pepper and milk.
- Roll into desired size meatball. ( 1 " small is best)
- Roll meatball in flour
- Brown meatballs in veg oil, remove from pan.
- Drain grease
- Return meatballs to pan or dutch oven
- Mix 2 cups hot water with 2 pkg of onion soup mix
- Pour over meat balls
- Cover.
- Simmer over low heat for 1/2 hour to 45 Min
- Serve over noodles
