Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix together meat, eggs, oatmeal, Thyme, Marjoram, salt, pepper and milk.
  • Roll into desired size meatball. ( 1 " small is best)
  • Roll meatball in flour
  • Brown meatballs in veg oil, remove from pan.
  • Drain grease
  • Return meatballs to pan or dutch oven
  • Mix 2 cups hot water with 2 pkg of onion soup mix
  • Pour over meat balls
  • Cover.
  • Simmer over low heat for 1/2 hour to 45 Min
  • Serve over noodles

    Hi, use your recipe, added some pork sausage, panko, Italian seasonings and make meat balls for spaghetti, turned out great. Made about 80 meat balls about 1- 1 1/4 inch in diameter. Froze 22 two bags, these will get the gravy treatment, then I will make your recipe as is. Good stuff. Thanks for posting. JJ

    Wow! I use oatmeal in my meatloaf too. We use ground turkey instead of ground beef. Thanks for posting...they sound great. Jett
