Ingredients
  • 1/4 c. maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon or grainy mustard
  • 1 tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 lb. center-cut ham steak or Canadian bacon, cut about 1/2 inch thick

Directions
  1. Blend syrup, mustard and vinegar together in small bowl. Brush one side of ham with mixture.
  2. Place ham on rack in broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat source for 2 minutes, brush with more glaze and broil 1 minute more.
  3. Turn, brush with glaze and broil 2 minutes. Brush again and broil about 1 minute until ham is fully heated and glaze is bubbly and golden.
  4. Serve immediately with any remaining glaze brushed over.

I know this is good. I've slobbered maple syrup onto thick ham slices, then thrown them on the grill, but this sounds even better. Thanks for the post.
