How to make it

  • Melt butter with garlic in a skillet over medium-high heat
  • Add shrimp, paprika, chili powder, and salt/pepper.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes, adding green onions a minute before the shrimp is done.
  • Serve over rice.
  • *note* you can add more/less butter, chili powder, garlic depending on your tastes. I usually add more garlic/chili powder to get even more flavor.

    Forgot to mention that the only things that are really necessary are the garlic/butter, so if you're really feeling lazy or if you don't have paprika/chili powder lying around, just do the same without them and they'll still taste pretty good.

    A Walmart around me sells bags of "extra large" unshelled shrimp for $5, so it's a pretty good dish for its price/time.
