Cowboy Spaghetti

- 6 slices bacon,chopped shopping list
- 1 lb lean ground sirloin shopping list
- 3 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic chopped shopping list
- 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce shopping list
- 1-2 tsp chipotle Tabasco sauce (or to taste) shopping list
- 1 28 oz can crushed fire roasted tomatoes (such as Muir Glen) shopping list
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce shopping list
- Salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 lb thin spaghetti shopping list
How to make it
- Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water,drain
- In large skillet over medium-high heat brown chopped bacon,drain on paper towels and set aside
- Drain bacon grease, saving 1 Tbsp
- Brown ground sirloin in reserved bacon grease until cooked and crumbled, drain and set aside
- Heat olive oil in skillet, saute onion and garlic until translucent
- Return sirloin to pan, add worchestershire and tabasco
- Add crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
- Add drained spaghetti, mix well, turn heat to low and simmer an additional 10 minutes until thickened
- Serve in pasta bowls, topped with shredded cheddar, scallions and chopped bacon
