How to make it

  • In large mixer bowl, with electric mixer combine cottage cheese, butter, flour, and salt until fairly smooth, not lumpy
  • Chill overnight in covered bowl
  • When ready to prepare, remove from refrigerator
  • Divide dough into thirds
  • Roll each portion out on floured board into a CIRCLE
  • Cut into pie shaped wedges
  • Roll each piece up beginning from the wide end of each wedge
  • Place on greased cookie sheet
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven, 30-40 minutes
  • Ice with butter cream glaze, while they are still warm

    What a unique recipe, Rosemaryblu! I have never made a dough using cottage cheese before. This sounds like something fun to try in the kitchen. Thank you so very much for the new recipe! I love this one!
