Ingredients
  • 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 egg yolks beaten
  • 3 egg whites beaten until stiff
  • 1-1/4 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions
  1. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa and salt together in medium bowl.
  2. Mix beaten egg yolks, milk and butter then add to dry ingredients.
  3. Stir lightly until mixed then bake in a hot waffle iron.
  4. Top with whipped cream and pecans then serve immediately.
