Strawberries And Cream Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

2qts fresh strawberries washed, capped and sliced into a bowl

1/2c. sugar

2c. whipping cream

1/2c sugar

1t. vanilla

1 box vanilla wafers

Directions

Whip cream adding 1/2c. sugar and vanilla

add 1/2c. sugar to berries mixing till sugar dissolves

In the bottom of serving bowl place a layer of vanilla wafers

On top of wafers place 1/3 of the strawberry mixture

Next add 1/3 of the whipped cream

Repeat till you have three layers ending with whipped cream

Crumble a few wafers on top

Chill for 2 hours before serving

I am thinking that in place of the vanilla wafers, I would use Pepperidge Farms chessman cookies...they are a shortbread and are used in Paula Deen's Not Your Momma's banana pudding that I posted. Worth a try! Thanks
