Good home-cooked macaroni and cheese, so creamy and cheesy and thick and delicious! The bread crumb topping adds a perfect crunch to the already beautiful taste! The whole family requires this be made at any social gathering...

Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 8 oz. white american cheese
  • Italian bread crumbs

Directions
  1. Melt butter in a small pot.
  2. lend in flour, salt, pepper.
  3. Add milk to mixture, cook on medium and stir until thick and bubbly.
  4. Add onion and cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Pour cooked noodles into casserole dish (9x9 works well).
  6. Pour cheesy mixture over, letting sink through all of the noodles until covering the tops.
  7. Sprinkle bread crumbs to your liking, and bake uncovered @ 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. You won't believe how delicious it smells!
