Maid-Rite Hamburgers Recipe
A family favorite copied by my mom from a midwest hamburger stand my folks would eat at in the '60's before I was born.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Hamburger
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • chopped onion
  • dill pickle slices
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. crumble and cook hamburger in pan (drain)
  2. add broth.
  3. boil until liquid reduces (10 15 minutes)
  4. While broth is reducing,
  5. chop onion for topping
  6. gather pickles for topping.
  7. spread hamburger buns with yellow mustard.
  8. Spoon hamburger on to fresh hamburger buns
  9. top with dill pickle and chopped onion.
