Maryland Crab Cakes

- 6 ounces jumbo lump crab meat shopping list
- 1 slice white bread diced with crust removed shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon shallots finely diced shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon chive finely diced shopping list
- 1 whole egg shopping list
- 1 teaspoon mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- In a bowl whisk one egg then gently fold in all ingredients except butter until well combined.
- Shape into patties.
- In a hot sauté pan add 2 tablespoons butter then lightly brown crab cakes on both sides.
- Remove from sauté pan.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
