Maryland Crab Cakes Recipe

Ingredients

6 ounces jumbo lump crab meat

1 slice white bread diced with crust removed

1/4 teaspoon shallots finely diced

1/4 teaspoon chive finely diced

1 whole egg

1 teaspoon mayonnaise

1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 375.

In a bowl whisk one egg then gently fold in all ingredients except butter until well combined.

Shape into patties.

In a hot sauté pan add 2 tablespoons butter then lightly brown crab cakes on both sides.

Remove from sauté pan.

Bake for 8 minutes.

Hey cooking buddy. You say these are cheap, do you have any good places to order seafood. Would love any direction here! All the sites I have seen are so expensive. I am in the midwest and about the only cheap here is catfish or salmon. Oh I guess there's carp if you catch it yourself:)Nasty!
