Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Brown hamburger and drain.
  • While browning meat make up the potatoes in the microwave.
  • Throw cream cheese into potatoes when you get them out. I didn't set my cream cheese out or cubed just threw it in. Stir until blended.
  • Make the beef gravy according to package.
  • Mix veggies, beef, and gravy.
  • Spoon into a 9X9 or I used 11X8.
  • Spoon potatoes over top and smooth out. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 20 minutes until heated through. Oh so good!

My mother used to have two GOOD recipes for Shepherds pie and this is very similar to her earliest and our most favorite one. This one looks easier though. Thanks for posting it! I think I will try it next time with the gravy mix. (She only used Kitchen Bouquet to make the "gravy" brown.

Beautidiva, some time we have to think of a quick fix especially with kids.

This recipe gives them their energy and nutritional needs too.
