How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • In a smallish pan melt the butter and then add sliced onions.
  • Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until soft.
  • Remove the onions from the pan but leave the butter in the pan.
  • Place the onions in a 9X13" pan.
  • Combine soup and milk and pour over the onions.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the mixture.
  • Slice the french bread in appox. 1 1/2" thick slices.
  • Dip both sides of the bread in the butter in pan.
  • Arrange bread on top of cheese .
  • Bake for 30 min or until bread is golden brown and toasty.
  • Enjoy
