An easy biscuit recipe. They taste great with butter and jam. Also a good base for buscuits and gravy. The aroma while baking reminds you of grandma's!

LOL!!!! Being from the south and growing up in a big family I was making biscuits at a very young age..All I need is a very good self rising flour,a good shorting, some milk or buttermilk, and a very hot oven.I never measure anything.I sift the flor in a big bowl, get a big wad of shortning in my hand, and add the milk while I'm squishing it around in the flour,I don't mix it for long...keep the dough soft.I just roll out 1 at a time in my hand s and put them in a very well greased pan and bake them 'til they are nice and brown...They always turn out gooooooooood!!! :)
