How to make it

  • Melt butter in skillet then stir in brown sugar, mustard and salt.
  • Add cooked carrots stirring constantly until carrots are nicely glazed about 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with parsley.

    I used regular sliced carrots that I steamed yesterday - Leave the carrots slightly hard on the first day- or they will get mushy when you cook for five minutes with the glaze. I served this with a breakfast casserole - and my family wanted the recipe. They were great. Will make again.

    Just tried them. They're great! Such a simple recipe, using common/staple ingredients. (I used fresh baby carrots, softened slightly in the microwave.)
