Mango Wasabi Barbeque Sauce Recipe
I made this the other night and whoa man, it was YUM! This is a perfect light (but spicy) bbq sauce, perfect for spring!

Ingredients
  • 2 whole mangoes
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1/2 can of tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c fruit juice (I used cran-grape)
  • 1/4 c apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbs dry wasabi
  • salt and sugar to taste (I think I used about 1/4c of sugar)
  • NOTE: My grill ran out of propane about 1/4 way into the cooking and I ended up finishing the chicken on grills over my campfire. The smoky flavor really added to the sauce. If you have some liquid smoke or a smoker, I would suggest using it.

Directions
  1. add everything to the food processor and mix, adding the onions last so you still have tiny bits of onions, they will crisp up over the fire.
  2. Marinate the meat for a few minutes before cooking and reserve enough to add some again 5 minutes before it is done cooking.
  3. Enjoy!
