Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon apple butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 slices fancy sweetened bread
  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, quartered (sprinkle with lemon juice) cinnamon

Directions
  1. Mix cream cheese, apple butter, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl until well blended.
  2. Place bread on Slide Rack of Toast-R-Oven Broiler; set toast color selector to setting between Light and Dark and toast bread.
  3. Remove from toaster oven / broiler and spread each with cream cheese mixture.
  4. Slice each apple quarter into thin slices and arrange on toast. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
  5. Place 2 open - faced sandwiches on Oven Pan and bake in toaster oven / broiler at 350°F. for 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
  6. Makes: 4 open-faced sandwiches.
