How to make it

  • Using a pastry cutter (or your hands!) cream butter.
  • Add sugar - mix well.
  • Add flour - mix well. The dough will be pretty firm.
  • Shape into small balls, placing on ungreased cookie sheet, and flatten out gently.
  • Bake at 350 for 10 min or until *lightly* browned on the bottom. Cookie will not brown unless burned :)
  • Shortbread is generally a dry cookie so these are great with coffee, tea or a glass of ice cold milk!
