How to make it

  • Blanch the cabbage in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain and place in a large bowl.
  • Add carrots, onion, red pepper, oregano, olive oil. salt brown sugar, vinegar and water.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving
  • 1 Cup serving has 41 calories

    This reminds me of how a jamaican friend of mine prepares his cabbage--he adds squash to his. This is actually very good.
