Ingredients

How to make it

  • In large bowl: combine egg, brown sugar, buttermilk, oil and vanilla
  • stir well
  • in bowl: combine flour, baking soda, and salt stir until blended
  • add flour mixture to the brown sugar mixture stir until blended
  • don't over mix
  • fold in the rhubarb and the nuts
  • pour batter into 2 well greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pans
  • in small bowl: combine the sugar, cinnamon and the butter.
  • stir with a fork until crumbly.
  • sprinkle mixture over the batter
  • bake in a preheated 350' F oven for 1 hour or until a wooden tooth pick comes out clean
  • cool in pans for 10 minutes before turning out on a wire rack
