Brown Sugar Potatoes very bad for you

- 6 cups peeled potatoes cut in1" cubes (not baking potatoes - yellow or red are best) shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter (do not substitute) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Place peeled, cubed potatoes on paper towels and pat as dry as possible.
- Place butter in large, deep, nonstick frying pan (a wok is ideal) and melt over medium heat.
- Add potatoes, salt, and pepper.
- As the potatoes begin to cook, toss occaisionally with a wooden spoon so they brown evenly,
- Cook until nearly done; add garlic and brown sugar.
- Let the brown sugar and butter caramellize on the potatoes as you stir. Keep them moving so they don't burn.
- When the caramel is done,the potatoes are finished.
- CAUTION: THEY WILL BE HOT!
