Apple-Cranberry Walnut Crisp

- 9 C peeled, sliced gala apples (about 3 pounds) shopping list
- 1/2 C fresh cranberries shopping list
- 1/2 C apple cider or juice shopping list
- 1/4 C maple syrup shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- Dash of salt shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1 C Regular oats shopping list
- 1 C whole wheat pastry flour shopping list
- 1/3 C coarsely chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1/3 C maple syrup shopping list
- 1/4 C unsalted butter, softened shopping list
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- To prepare filling, combine apples and next 7 ingredients (apples through dash of salt.)
- Spoon apple mixture into a 13 X 9-inch baking dish.
- To prepare topping, combine oats and remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over mixture.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
- Uncover; bake an additional 20 minutes or until topping is crisp and juices are thick and bubbly.
