How to make it
- Set 1 fig aside for garnish, and peel the rest.
- In a food processor, combine the peeled figs, gelato (or ice cream) and cocoa powder. Puree until smooth.
- Transfer to serving dishes.
- Sprinkle with the shaved chocolate.
- Cut the reserved fig into quarters, the long way, and use 1/4 to garnish each serving dish.
