Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups raw sheled peanuts, leave skins on
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 300*
  2. Dissolve sugar and salt in water in saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add peanuts.
  4. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until peanuts are completely sugared (coated and no syrup left).
  5. Pour onto ungreased cookie sheet, spreading so peanuts are separated as much as possible.
  6. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, stirring at 5 minutes intervals.
  7. Let cool and serve.
  8. Yield: 2 cups
