Mandarin Peach Sauce

Another one from The Other White Meat. Serve with pork or whatever you like.
Ingredients
- 1 15-oz. can sliced peaches, drained shopping list
- 3 T. Kikkoman teriyaki sauce shopping list
- 1 T. cornstarch shopping list
- 1 T. sugar shopping list
- ¼ tsp fennel shopping list
- ¼ tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves shopping list
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder shopping list
How to make it
- Place peaches in blender container. Cover and process on high speed until smooth; pour into small saucepan. Combine teriyaki sauce and cornstarch; stir into peaches with sugar, fennel, pepper and cloves. Bring to boil over med heat. Simmer until sauce thickens, about 2 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in garlic powder. Makes 1 cup sauce.
