Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat lemon juice, lemon zest and 1/2 cup of water until it simmers
  • Slowly add sugar, stirring until it dissolves
  • Separately, mix flour and 1/4 cup of water until smooth
  • Slowly add flour/water mix to lemon juice, stirring
  • Cook for about 4 minutes to let glaze thicken, stirring occasionally

    Do you know why my glaze turned out very slimy and sticky like egg whites? I followed the recipe to a tee, but I used arrowroot powder instead of cornstarch. Could that be the problem?
