  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk or cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions
  1. Boil until it forms a soft ball when a small amount is dropped in water.
  2. Flavor with vanilla.
  3. Beat until cold and spread between layers of cake.
  4. Tops and sides also.
