Lamb Meatballs with Lemon and Crumbled Feta Fondue

- 24 lamb meatballs cooked shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups crumbled feta cheese shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1-1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 8 ounce package cream cheese cut in pieces shopping list
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium-size bowl toss the feta cheese with the cornstarch.
- In a medium size heavy-bottomed saucepan heat the milk and cream cheese over low heat until the cream cheese is almost melted smooth then stir in lemon juice.
- Add the feta a handful at a time stirring until cheese is melted before adding more.
- When all the cheese has been added stir in the dill, mint and lemon peel.
- Transfer fondue to an enamel or ceramic fondue pot and keep warm over a fondue burner.
- Warm meatballs and dip in fondue sauce then serve immediately.
