Ingredients

How to make it

  • Grind shallots, garlic, candlenut, turmeric, chillies and lemon grass
  • Heat the oil and stir fry the grind ingredients until fragrant.
  • Add 3 cups of water and bring to boil.
  • The add the prawns, pineapple and green chilies. Bring to a boil switch to low heat and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Finally, stir in coconut milk.
  • Add in salt and sugar to taste.
  • Cooks until it boils

    This sounds like an easy dish to prepare and won't take very long. Is there a substitution for the candlenut? Could I use macadamia nuts instead? This is on my "Gotta Try" list. Thank you for the post!
