Sirloin Steak with Garlic butter

- 1/2 C. butter shopping list
- 2 t. garlic powder shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 4 1/2 inch thick sirloin steaks shopping list
- coarsely ground salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and add in garlic powder and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Heat a bit of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper.
- Place steaks in frying pan and pour in the garlic butter mixture.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until done.
- Serve on a warmed plate with a nice side of vegetables.

This was delicious. I loved the little hint of butter and garlic. I had one steak but cut the rest of the ingredients in half. Four minutes each side in my 8" cast iron and it was done perfectly. Added a couple of pictures. A tasty bit more i...more
