Honey-sweet Syrup

- 100-115 ml sugar (white if you have it, brown if you don't) (1/2 cup minus 2 Tbsp or 1/2 cup) shopping list
- 25 g brown sugar (about 30ml or 2 Tbsp) shopping list
- 100 ml water (1/2 cup minus 2 Tbsp) shopping list
- 15-30 ml honey (use 110 sugar + 30 honey or 115 sugar + 15 honey based on how much you like the honey flavor) (1-2 Tbsp) shopping list
How to make it
- Dump first 3 ingredients in an unheated saucepan. Bring to a boil.
- Cook on medium heat (180C) for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add 15 ml honey.
- Remove from heat, pour into container good for pouring syrup.
- Store, sealed, in fridge.
- Tastes best warm, so eat it fresh or microwave it for about 30 seconds!

I have run out of Maple syrup before, you are so good at making substitutions, we have to be creative at times of need and that is when creativity spawns a great recipe like this one.
