How to make it

  • Par boil the wings for 10 minutes and let cool while preparing the sauce
  • Mix all other ingredients in a medium sauce pan and slowly bring to a boil
  • Stay right with it because it tends to boil over
  • Reduce heat to a simmer and stir until sauce thickens slightly
  • Arrange wings in a large disposable foil roaster (less clean up)
  • Pour sauce over wings and arrange on center rack in a 450 F oven
  • Bake for approx 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes until wings are dark, gooey and yummy.

Now how did you know I had a bottle of Southern Comfort that's been 'bottle aging' on my shelf the last 2 years? lol No one at home wants to touch the stuff cos it's soooo sweet. But lookey here, some angel sent me this gorgeous recipe ;) and that bottle is coming down from it's shelf real soon. Great recipe, bookmarking it and giving it my 5. Thanks for sharing.
