This is a Rub that I got off of the spiceisland.com, site. It is a very good rub!

Ingredients
  • 3 Tblsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tblsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tblsp. black pepper,medium grind
  • 1 Tblsp. basil leaves
  • 1-1/2 teasp. ground thyme

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients, mix until well blended.
  2. Store tightly covered until ready for use.
  3. Rub or pat on chicken, pork, beef or lamb
  4. just before cooking or up to 5 hours in advance.
