Delicious, insanely easy and a great vegetarian main dish that's both sweet and spicy. Use regular sugar for the Splenda if you don't care for it, my family contains diabetics so we use it.

Why not? it makes it a complete meal and the rice soaks up the sauce. you caqn substitute anything you wish

It would depend on what you use, just make sure it would equal 2 tbsp of sugar (like Splenda does).
