How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • In a bowl cream the butter with the brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the flour, milk, and vanilla.
  • Stir in the oats and drop rounded teaspoons of the dough about 3 inches apart onto parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8 minutes or until they are bubbly and golden brown.
  • Cool on sheet for 1 minute and CAREFULLY remove with a metal spatula onto wire cooling rack.
