Irish Lace Cookies

- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened shopping list
- 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 T flour shopping list
- 2 T milk shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups old fashioned rolled oats shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a bowl cream the butter with the brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the flour, milk, and vanilla.
- Stir in the oats and drop rounded teaspoons of the dough about 3 inches apart onto parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 minutes or until they are bubbly and golden brown.
- Cool on sheet for 1 minute and CAREFULLY remove with a metal spatula onto wire cooling rack.
