How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • In a food processor, combine syrup, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper and olive oil until well combined.
  • Spray a shallow, glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place fillets in dish, skin-side down.
  • Pour the sauce over the fillets, completely covering them.
  • Sprinkle lightly with brown sugar.
  • Bake 20-30 minutes, until the sugar has caramelized.

    Uh... I love this recipe. Always looking for new ways to cook salmon. Maple is a very surprising addition to salmon, but I think it would be great¡¡ Thanks for sharing.

    You could also do this w/ pork chops. I do almost the same thing-minus ginger- for my hubby. He loves it-says it reminds of honey bee ham. Still trying to master that glaze-he can tell if it's not the real thing!!
