- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 Tbs. cocoa shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts shopping list
- 1 pkg. mini-marshmallows shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter, then add sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
- Add sifted dry ingredients and stir well.
- Add vanilla and chopped nuts.
- Pour batter into greased 9" pan.
- Bake 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle mini- marshmallows all over the top, keeping away from the edges.
- Return to oven for 2 minutes.
- Remove from oven and frost.
- *****Frosting
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- Combine brown sugar, water and chocolate and boil 3 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients, mix and spread over marshmallows.
- Cool and cut into squares.
