Wine Boiled Pasta

After watching Rachel Ray and Giada battle it out on Iron Chef I had to try a variation of Rachel's pasta boiled in wine! This came out tasting like something from a 5 star restaurant! Ingredients
- fettucine shopping list
- cooked chicken chunks shopping list
- 2 tblsp olive oil divided shopping list
- fruity table wine shopping list
- minced garlic shopping list
- fresh lemon juice and zest shopping list
- dash crushed red pepper shopping list
- parmesan shopping list
- mozzerella shopping list
How to make it
- Brown chicken in skillet with 1 tblsp olive oil along with minced garlic
- Heat wine to boiling in a pot then add fettucine.
- Once pasta is al dente, drain, then add to chicken in skillet.
- Mix another tblsp of olive oil into the pasta.
- Squeeze lemon juice over pasta and sprinkle with zest
- Add as much parmesan and mozzerella to liking.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Here is the brand of wine I used - it had been left open in the fridge for a few days so it was nice and "fermenty" smelling!
