Whole Pickled Green Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients

Small to medium green tomatoes, romas work best for this

2 quarts boiling water

3 cups cider vinegar

2 cups sugar

2 sticks cinnamon

2 T whole cloves

1 cup whole ripe Tabasco peppers

2 medium sized onions, chopped

5-10 whole cloves of garlic (to taste_

2 T whole peppercorns

Directions

Wash the tomatoes. Pack tomatoes, garlic, peppers, and onions into sterilized canning jars. Bring the water, vinegar, sugar, cinnamon and cloves to a boil. Let cool slightly and poor into the jars to fill them completely. Put the lids on, and set them in a cool place for several weeks.
