Sweet And Fiery Glazed Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 portions of salmon filets or steaks
  • 3/4 c of orange marmalade
  • 1 small navel orange, sliced
  • 2 stalks of green onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp of dry white wine
  • 1 tsp of fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 five spice powder
  • 1/4 c toasted almond slices
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. Pat dry fish. Salt and pepper both sides and place in resealable plastic bag.
  2. Combine marmalade, wine, ginger, mustard, garlic, cayenne, five spice, green onion with fish. Seal and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 450 degree. Place fish in baking dish. Bake 4 minutes per side per 1/2 thickness. Baste with marmalade sauce.
  4. Transfer to plates. Sprinkle with almonds and serve with orange slices as garnish.
