Junes Delmonico Potatoes

- 9 medium potatoes unpeeled shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter shopping list
- 1/3 cup flour shopping list
- 2 1/4 cup half and half or milk shopping list
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 3 Tbsp breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1 onion- chopped/minced sauteed shopping list
How to make it
- Cook unpeeled potatoes and 1 teaspoon salt until tender, about 25 min
- Peel and cut up potatoes into 9x13 casserole dish
- In large sauce pan melt butter and onion
- Stir in flour and blend until smooth
- Stir in milk until bubbly
- Stir in 2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Pour over potatoes in casserole dish covering all potatoes
- -you can also gently stir
- Top with cheese and bread crumbs
- *Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes uncovered
