Ingredients

How to make it

  • wash fish and season with salt
  • heat oil in frying pan....fry fish until cooked ....5 minutes on both sides
  • set aside cooked fish
  • make sauce:-
  • in a saucepan cook vinegar,onions and spices
  • simmer gently until well blended and onions are transparent,but still crunchy
  • stir in sugar to taste
  • place cooked fish in a deep casserole dish and pour warm sauce over ensuring all the fish is covered
  • allow flavour to develop while cooling
  • serve with freshly baked butter bread .......yummy ...enjoy
