Iced Sweet Hibiscus Tea

Iced hibiscus tea is very popular back in the middle east. It is known to calm the senses. So great to drink if you need to relax. You can find dry hibiscus flower petals in any ethnic food store around you (egyptian, indian, chinese, you name it they probably have it). Read more This can be drank hot too. See less
Ingredients
- 10 cups of water shopping list
- 3/4 cup of dry hibiscus flower petals shopping list
- 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar or splenda (sweeten to your taste, this is the amount I like) shopping list
How to make it
- Bring water to a rolling boil.
- Add the dry petals.
- Let boil for 15 mins.
- Add sugar and stir in until dissolved.
- Strain into large bowl, discard the flower petals.
- Let cool completely.
- Pour into a pitcher (preferably glass, because the color of this tea is a magnificent ruby red that you will want everyone to see, lol)
- Chill in refrigerator.
- Serve with Ice cubes and enjoy!
