We really enjoyed the potato bread baked in the bread machine so wanted to see how sweet potato bread would be. Recipe was definitely worth making!

My mum makes a sweet potato dough and fries it. They taste great but I think this is a much healthier way to get that same great sweet tater flavour I like so much. Thanks for posting.

Made this one but left out the cheese.
Added 1/4 tsp ea. of ground cinnamon, nutmeg & ginger spice.
Also 3 TB buttermilk powder &
1/2 tsp vanilla essence.
Friend enjoyed it & announced on her radio show, that the smooth, light velvety texture was more like eating cake, rather than their traditional kumara bread she'd grown up on.
Instead of grated cheddar, going to add 1/4 c shredded raw sweet potato for the next loaf, similar to the bread the locals make with baking powder.
