Crab Stuffed Mushroom Caps

- 24 large stuffing mushrooms shopping list
- 1/4 c extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1/3-1/2 c minced garlic shopping list
- 1 tub whipped chive cream cheese shopping list
- 1 can crab meat shopping list
- 3 tbsp freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 6 tbsp butter shopping list
How to make it
- Remove stems from mushrooms
- With a teaspoon, scrape off as much of the gills as possible
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, parmesan cheese and crab meat
- Fold together until thoroughly combined
- Drizzle 1/2 tsp olive oil in each mushroom cap,then add a sprinkle of minced garlic
- Add 1 tablespoon mixture to each mushroom cap
- Place mushrooms in a foil baking pan
- Cut the butter into cubes and add to the bottom of the pan
- Sprinkle remaining minced garlic over the butter
- Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350F for 40 minutes
- Set oven to broil
- Remove foil and brown lightly for approx 5 minutes,watching carefully so they don"t burn
