Yum, I love grilled cheese and anything fried is great so combine the two and it's excellent! : )

Ingredients
  • 8 Slices white bread
  • 8 Slices American Cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 sleeve crushed Saltine crackers
  • vegtable oil
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Directions
  1. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Put two slices of cheese on four slices of bread.
  3. Top with remaining four slices of bread.
  4. Slice into quarters.
  5. Whisk together egg, milk and salt.
  6. Crush crackers and put on plate.
  7. Dip each sandwhich into egg mixture and roll in crumbs.
  8. Freeze for 30 min. at least before frying.
  9. Heat 1" of vegtable oil in pan to 375 and fry 2 min. on each side or until golden.
  10. Enjoy!!!
