How to make it

  • In a heavy-bottomed, six-quart saucepan (or larger), place the oil, add a few kernels. When the first kernels pop, add the popcorn kernels.
  • Cover and pop, shaking frequently.
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients (seasonings) in a small bowl.
  • Pour the popped corn into a large paper bag and add the seasonings.
  • Shake and serve.
  • Now who will miss those BBQ Chips!

    The turmeric makes for a nice yellow color. Love the spice and the fact that you use vegetable oie instead of butter.
