BAKED OATMEAL This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Norvell Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 whole egg plus 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix oatmeal and baking powder/
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into oatmeal and mix well.
  4. Pour into well sprayed pie pan and bake for 45 minutes.
