From cristi35 17 years agoIngredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry shopping list
- 1 lb lump crab meat shopping list
- 1 pkg frozen spinich shopping list
- 1 can artichoke hearts in water shopping list
- 2 8oz pkgs cream cheese shopping list
- 3 cloves roasted garlic (you can use minced if you prefer) shopping list
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme shopping list
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary shopping list
- 1 cup shredded Italian cheese mix (mozzerella, romano, parm etc) shopping list
- 1/2 cup mozzerella/parmesan mix for topping shopping list
- 1 tbsp papricka shopping list
- 1 tbsp cayenne (less for the faint of heart) shopping list
- 1 tbsp curry powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup chicken broth shopping list
How to make it
- cut puff pastry into 6 squares and place on baking sheet
- place cream cheese in a large microwave safe bowl and nuke for 45 seconds or so to soften
- place frozen spinich in microwave for 2 minutes to thaw. Remove and place in a dry towel or colander and squeeze all the excess water out. put in bowl with cream cheese
- drain artichoke hearts and cut into bite size pieces, toss in bowl
- mash roasted garlic with a fork, or mince garlic and toss in bowl. (i would only use a clove if using fresh)
- mince thyme and rosemary and toss in
- toss in 1 cup cheese, papricka, cayenne, curry, and broth
- mix well and then fold in crab meat
- Place in a 9 x 13 glass baking dish and top with remaining cheese
- sprinkle with additional papricka and bake in a 375 degree oven about 15-20 minutes or until brown and bubbly
- You can cook puff pastry at the same time, though you need to watch as it will probably get done before the dip
