Rice Consomme Recipe
This is an easy side and very tasty.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans beef consomme or bouillon
  • 1 cup rice
  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • 1 can of mushrooms or fresh mushrooms, sliced

Directions
  1. Preheat oven on 350F.
  2. Melt margarine in casserole dish.
  3. Pour in rice, consomme and mushrooms.
  4. Cover.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes.

Sounds like a very nice side dish.


Sounds great. I love rice and mushrooms. Might try it with chicken flavor instead of beef. Or how about both ways?!


I know this is one of my favorite dishes. I have never made it this fast though--great for some days whenI don't have hours !!
